Please Note: Due to the varying costs involved in posting fragile items
abroad, we regret that we
are unable to take overseas orders by internet at present. If you are
an overseas
(non U.K) customer, please contact us with your requirements and we will
be pleased
to quote for postage and packaging costs to your destination.
This does not include clothing, goods and poster prints ordered via Cafe
Press.
How to order:
You can place your order directly through my on-line shopping facility
or by post. Please see the
relevant information below to assist you.
Order Purple 13 art online:
Ordering art online with Purple 13 couldn't be simpler or safer, the
steps below explain how
the order process works and the relevant information you will need. As
you will see below I
accept most major credit cards via a secure server software (see Security/Privacy
below for
further information).
Step 1 - Browsing the art galleries.
You can browse for your favourite art using the different galleries.
Each gallery is divided into easy to follow catergories under specific
art type headings. When you
see a 'thumbnail' of a piece of art you like, simply click on it to view
a larger version.
When the larger version appears, it will be accompanied by its title (if
it is actually titled), its
image reference number in the little red box to the side and underneath,
you will find the print
and framing options available for that piece of art and the prices. Simply
click on the price of the
product(s) you wish to order to add that item to your shopping basket.
Step 2 - Using your basket.
Clicking on Basket on the top navigation bar at any time will show
you the current artworks you have added. To re-view an artwork, just click
on the product reference
number/title to preview. You can remove, change and delete items here.
Step 3 - Checkout.
Once you are happy with the contents of your basket click "Proceed
to Checkout". At this point
all information is sent through a secure connection. Then, simply confirm
your art choice(s) and
complete the customer information and payment details.
Step 4 - Credit card payment.
We accept the following credit cards:
Mastercard
Visa
Delta

Solo
PayPal
The name and billing address given must be the same as that registered
with your card supplier.
Postal orders with Cheques will need 7 working days to clear.
Your order will be confirmed by email along with your order number, please
keep this safe in the
unlikely event there is a problem with your order, as you will be asked
for this number when
contacting Purple 13.
All Prices are in pounds Sterling.
Online credit card payment facilities are hosted by PayPal.
Name and billing address.
Must be the same as registered with your card supplier.
Daytime contact number & email address if you have one.
This is in case we need to contact you about your order.
Product codes for the items you have chosen.
You may find it useful to shop in the usual way by adding items to
your basket. Then instead
of proceeding to checkout simply print your basket to use as your shopping
list.
Credit card details.
Must be the same as billing address given.
Delivery address.
We do not deliver to PO. Box numbers. Some customers find it useful
for gifts to be delivered to a
place of work if full and correct address is known.
Delivery will usually occur between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. Monday to Saturday.
If it is not
possible to accept delivery at the address given your delivery will be
taken to your local sorting
office to await your collection. Your local sorting office will hold deliveries
for 4-5 working days,
after this period they will return any uncollected deliveries to Purple
13. Should an item be returned
because of a failed collection we can not be held responsible.
We will deliver to the address as you enter it and cannot accept any liability
for late or failed delivery
if the quoted address is incorrect or incomplete. If you are not sure
of the address you should check it.
In the event that you select a business address, Purple 13 shall be deemed
to have successfully
delivered the product to its intended recipient by delivering it to the
reception area at the business address.

Purple 13 Art by post.
To order Purple 13 art by post you may want to print out the "Printable
Order Form".
Cheques will
need 7 working days to clear. All orders by post with a cheque payment
would add an additional 7
days to the standard delivery stated. No orders will be processed until
payment has cleared.

Terms & Conditions.
If your delivery arrives damaged, you must advise us within 3 days.
This does not affect your
statutory rights as a consumer.
Due to the very limited number of signed framed prints, it may occur that
two or more orders
are received for the same piece of art which is nearing edition completion,
making it impossible
for both orders etc, to be fulfilled. In such cases, the order first received
by Purple 13 will receive
priority. Subsequent orders will be contacted to arrange another finish
option or another choice of art.
You may cancel your order up to and within 7 days of delivery (commencing
the day after goods
have been received by the customer) in accordance with the Distance Selling
Directive (2000).
A full refund, including P&P will be made within 30 days of cancellation.
We request all items are
returned at the customers cost or collected by ourselves and the cost
for this charged to the customer
or deducted from the refund.
Returned Goods.
Goods accepted for return are subject to a 25% handling fee. In line with
the distance selling
regulations 2000 you are required to send a notice of cancellation in
writing if required, including fax
or e-mail, stating customer account number, sale number and reason for
cancellation of the goods.
A telephone call is not enough to constitute cancellation. If you exercise
your right to cancel such
goods the ownership of the goods will revert to the supplier. The regulations
impose a responsibility
on the consumer to take reasonable care of any goods that have been supplied.
The obligation
applies before as well as after the consumer has given the notice of cancellation.
This provision is
designed to ensure such goods can be sold as new again. You will be wholly
responsible for the
cost of return delivery and safe return of the goods and damages will
be at the customer's risk.
We intemperate reasonable care as meaning the goods are in perfect condition
with all box and
packaging intact. Goods that have not been agreed by the customer services
department for
return will not be accepted and refused. Goods that do not meet the above
criteria and are not
resalable as new will be subjected to additional surcharges. All transactions

Clothing, goods and poster prints from Cafe Press
All orders for clothing, goods and poster prints via Cafe Press are
subject to Cafe Press's
own terms and conditions which can be found via the links on their website.
Purple 13
has no control over their trading policies, terms and conditions etc,
and Cafe Press's decisions
shall be final. We do occasionally monitor quality and delivery of items
ordered from Cafe Press.

Privacy/Security.
Your credit card information is encrypted which means that ONLY the
receiver of the information
(i.e. PayPal / Purple 13) can read this information.
Please note that general email correspondence is not encrypted and is,
therefore, not considered

Customer Privacy
Your details are confidential and you will never receive unsolicited
mail as a result of ordering from
Purple 13. The only information collected about you is as given when you
register or order.
This information is used to compile a database for mailing details of
new artworks or news to our customers.
It is our policy not to sell or pass any of this information to any other
organisations. All information is
collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Complaints
If you should have a complaint you can either email or phone. Purple
13 will endeavour to respond to
all complaints within 3 working days and resolve any such complaint within
5 working days.
If for any reason we are unable to resolve a complaint within 5 working
days we will inform you of this.
Cookies
Cookies are common pieces of information, stored on your hard drive
by your web browser, that
help Purple 13 to monitor your preferences and enhance your shopping experience
whilst you use my
site. Most browsers are automatically set to accept cookies and you can
refuse them if you choose,
doing so however will effect the performance and functionality of the
website. Cookies only identify
